The Trek.

So, today was the day my friends and I made the great trek back up to Red Clay Resort, which we later found out was actually called Farmers Lake. Anyway, we pull up and we are literally the ONLY ones there. We ask the 70+ year old guy, who we assumed owned it if we could swim...his response..."oh yea, I just put the dogs away, let me open it up for you..". I had no idea what to expect from there on. It actually turned out to be perfect, the water flowed in fresh from a stream and it was some of the bluest water I have ever seen. We layed out until the sweat was dripping off of us and then dove in. The water was freezing, but it was super fun. We will for sure be making that trek up there again.

Sunday Night Lights

So Ive decided to start a blog. If we are being honest, its most likely just going to be me typing embarrassing moments of my friends and I, but who doesnt love a good laugh. Laughter is the best medicine right? I guess I should give a quick intro before I spill all the juicy gossip of life here at college. As you can tell by the giant heading, my name is Andrea. Im a "returning freshie" (26 hours..thats only 3 short of a sophmore) at Lee University which is in THE smallest town in the world. I drive "El Toro", a classy red taurus, and I have a roomate. She is asleep, well at least I think so. I can never tell because she talks in her sleep. Sometimes I try to have conversations with her but she just gets pissed and yellls at me. Classy, I know. I love her though, and what she lacks in peaceful slumber, she makes up for in witty humor and good looks (tossed that in case she reads this...shh). College is a blast and I have some crazy adventures which is pretty much what this blog will talk about. Im going to try and write at least 3 or so stories a week to keep all two of you reading this blog entertained. So moving on to the adventure of the day...as two of my friends and I were driving through the back roads of town, we came across a super sketch outdoor public pool type of deal, we are going to go there tomorrow and see whats the happs on that mess. Okay, its not as interesting of a story as I thought it would be, but once we go tomorrow, Im sure I will at least 10 good stories after that....thats if I come back without some sort of disease. Anway, Ive got a 10 am class tomorrow. Goodnight all of you who have nothing better to do than read this!
